Question
The moving load on underground structures is not replaced with simultaneous load.
Answer
You need to convert the moving load to static load using the 'Moving Load Tracer' function and then replace it with simultaneous load.
The simultaneous load combination cannot be generated with nonlinear loads, and the Tension / Compression-Only Point Spring Element does not perform nonlinear analysis in Moving Load Analysis.
After performing linear analysis in Moving Load Analysis, the moving load should be converted to static load using the 'Moving Load Tracer' and then replaced with simultaneous load.
1) Use 'Moving Load Tracer' to find the maximum My.
2) Perform the influence line or influence surface analysis, and select 'Moving Load Cases' and specific element to identify the moving load that produces the maximum or minimum results. Then, the moving load is converted to the static load using 'Write Min/Max Load to File' and output the results in the MCT format.
3) Copy the MCT file and paste it into the 'MCT Command Shell' in the 'Tools' menu, and then click the 'Run' button.
4) Click the 'Run' button will create a Static Load Case 2, and the moving load is applied as static load using 'Moving Load Tracer' function.
5) To perform analysis of underground structures, convert the static load to the simultaneous load.
