Question
The rebar information I entered is different from the rebar information in the Seismic Performance Evaluation Report.
Answer
The rebar information in Seismic Perform > Inelastic Material > Rebar Data is used as the final value for primary rebar and shear rebar in the Seismic Performance Evaluation report.
[ Inelastic Material Model > Rebar Data ]
Rebar information from Rabar Data used in the Seismic Performance Evaluation Report can be entered quickly and easily by using the Import Reference Material & Section Data function.
The Import Reference Material & Section Data function links rebar information to Rebar Data based on the rebar status defined in Rebar Input for Column Section.
(For arbitrary sections, we do not support linking rebar information using reference values).
[ Rebar Input for Column Section Rebar -> Rebar Data Linking ]
However, it is important to note that Rebar Input for Column Section does not distinguish between the axial and perpendicular directions. If the cross section of the bridge is symmetrical or the amount of shear reinforcement in the axial/perpendicular direction is the same, there is no problem with the linking, but if the amount of shear reinforcement in the axial and perpendicular direction is different, such as in a wall bridge, additional shear reinforcement modification is required in Rebar Data.
The Material & Section in the Auto Calculation dialog box, which is activated when you click the Import Reference Material & Section Data button, are reference values that are only used when linking, not values that are stored in Inelastic Material. Therefore, when you re-activate the dialog box, the first Section and Material are set as the default values because they are not data that is saved.
