[Authentication] CIM License Authentication Methods

Question

I'm curious about how to authenticate CIM licenses.

 

Answer

When using MIDAS programs, you must enter the correct User ID / Password / Protection Key and proceed with the authentication process.

1. Run CIM and click the 'License' icon in the top left corner of the screen to open the authentication window. _____CIM____________________.png

2. Select 'Web Authentication' at the top of the authentication window.

3. Enter your 'User ID / Password / Protection Key' in the 'License Authentication' section.

4. Select the product and options to use in the 'Select Product' section.

5. Click the [Update] button in the center of the authentication window, then click the _____CIM____________check.png button at the bottom.
