Can I make 3D PDF drawings ?
Answer
CAD INFRA-DESIGN utilizes the 3D PDF creation function to include the 3D model in a PDF file through the general output function.
Based on the 2D section created in CAD INFRA-DESIGN, you can combine it with the 3D section, and check the model with the PDF viewer program that is pre-installed on your PC.

ㆍThis is a Section in which CIM and CAD INFRA-DESIGN are linked for drawing.
ㆍTo check the function, 2D section and 3D section in the form of isometric view must be
created in CAD INFRA-DESIGN in advance.

ㆍ In the explanation example), the model of the pier is used.
① Select the 2D and 3D sections to construct the 3D PDF.
② Select a representative section to be included in the 3D View list.
③ Select the 2D View section to be displayed in combination with the 3D section and move to the Assigned 2D View item on the right.
④ Select the checkbox if there are 2D sections that will be cut out and shown in the 3D section.
⑤ Click OK to complete the settings.

ㆍ In the 3D section in which the information of the 2D section is combined, the color of the
View Box is displayed in yellow.

ㆍ Drag & drop the 3D section in the CIM View model space and place it in the Sheet, or if the section
has been placed in advance, the color of the View Box changes to yellow.
ㆍ Move to CAD View Mode model space and Place the 3D section in the drawing (Sheet).

ㆍIf you want to display the 3D model in the size of the entire drawing, enlarge the View Box and it will
appear in the size of the entire drawing when creating a 3D PDF.

ㆍIn CAD View mode, input the Plot command to print the drawing.
ㆍPrint is performed in the same way as before, and 3D PDF Printer.3dm is selected and applied only in the printer name.
