How can I create the Quantity Table (Quantity Calculation Summary Table)?
Answer
The Quantity Table can be created in the construction mode in under Construction of the Application tab.
The user can generate the Quantity Calculation Summary Table in an Excel format (Output as an Excel format).

To calculate the quantity of each construction type, the model must be preceded by the assignment of information using the Work Type Tool.

Go to Construction Mode to create the Quantity Calculation Summary Table.

For the Quantity Calculation Summary Table, Figure 2 above shows the process in steps.
① Template : Define the Quantity Calculation form format. The construction types by material,
specifications and units can be set.
② Generate : Select the target and template for the quantity calculation.
(All / User Defined / By Structure)
③ Export : Export the Quantity Calculation Summary Table to link with Excel.

Figure. 3 shows the process of entering the field item for each material set in the field function according to the required items.
① Click on the Template to create a dialog box for Field classification.
② Change the Template Name.
In the example above, the name is set to ‘Quantity Summary Table
③ Select the quantity calculation type/number of specification settings. Up to 3 can be set,
and setting just 1 is also acceptable.
In the example above, the Number of Fields is set to 3.
④ Customize and enter the classification items of the quantity table that are linked to Excel.
⑤ Enter the Field content and unit system such as Material and Tag items required for the
quantity calculation.
⑥ Apply and Close to exit the dialog box.

Set the scope for the quantity calculation
① Go to the Quantity Calculation Scope tab.
② Select the quantity calculation summary table (Template List) as shown in Figure. 3.
③ The user can specify a range for the entire structure as shown on the screen, or select a
quantity calculation range based on the structure configuration.
In the example above, the By Structure is selected.
④ To check the quantity below the substructure construction, 1.1.2 substructure box is checked.
The user can check the quantity calculation sheet by checking the level composition system unit.
⑤ Apply and Close to exit the dialog box.

Export the Quantity Calculation Summary Table
① Enter ‘Export To Excel’.
② Select the quantity calculation summary table (Template List) as shown in Figure 3 and 4.
③ Click ‘Export To Excel’ to select the directory path, set the file name and save.
④ Apply and Close to exit the dialog box.

Check the Quantity Calculation Summary Table
ㆍLocate the saved file and open it.
: The worksheet configuration in Excel is similar to the Structure configuration table when
entering the quantity system.
ㆍQuantity and its related information are calculated according to the Field configuration system
entered in the Work Type.
: The user can check the contents of the quantity calculation sheet with the structure where the
contents of the lower quantity composition are added to the higher level.
