[CIVIL] The Seismic Performance Evaluation report outputs all seismic forces as zero.

Question

The Seismic Performance Evaluation report outputs all seismic forces as zero.

Answer

Seismic performance evaluation uses the final load combinations assigned to Load Combination Type Combination 1, Combination 2, and Combination 3, which can be found under Seismic Perform. > Misc. > Seismic Load Combination Type.

If you used the Auto Generation feature in Load Combination to automatically generate load combinations, they are automatically assigned to Combination 1, Combination 2, and Combination 3 according to the rules in the Seismic Performance Evaluation Tips.

If you have created a load combination for seismic performance evaluation, you must assign it directly to the Seismic Load Combination Type to apply it as a combination elastic seismic force for the required performance.

It's worth noting that the Combination 1, Combination 2, and Combination 3 categorization is just a trick, as the evaluation is performed for all assigned load combinations.
