If I created a beam element instead of a truss element, how do I correct that?

GEN has two ways to change the element type.

From main menu select NODE/Element > Change Element Parameters > Parameter
Select ‘Element Type’ and choose from the type of element it is (beam) to the type of element to be changed (Truss).

Alternatively, right click on Selected Element and choose Modify Element.
