[GEN/View]How to Represent Undeformed Shape as 'Wire' When Hidden is On

Question

I want to represent the Undeformed shape as a Wire when Hidden On.

Answer

If you want to show the wire as it was before the deformation, use the Display Option function.

On the Draw tab, select (Undeformed Shape) for the Hidden Option and specify the Type as Wireframe in the Option Value.

When Hidden is on, the Undeformed shape is designated as Outline, so it looks like the image above.

If you want to show the shape before deformation as a wire, you can use the Display Option function. On the Draw tab, select (Undeformed Shape) for the Hidden Option and specify the Type as Wireframe in the Option Value.

Elements with thickness can be represented when they are Outlined while Hidden is On.
For this to work, Thickness must be enabled in the Hidden Option (Model).

After analysis, if the function you want to use has a Vaules entry for Type of Display, replace it directly here.

In this case, features with Vaules in Result (Reactions, Deformation, Forces, Stresses, etc.) are not applied in Label Orientation, but in Set Orientation as shown below.
