Question

How can I restore the default shortcut icons and message window settings?

Answer

1. The first is to enable only what the user wants.

1) Execute Main Menu > Tools > Customize > Customize...

2) In the Customize dialog box, on the Toolbars tab, check on the appropriate menu to recover

2. The second way is to use Regedit to set the default working environment provided by the program.

1) Close the MIDAS program you are using.

2) START> Type ‘Regedit’ in the Run(R)... and, Click ‘OK’

3) In the Registry Editor window, navigate to the folder where the MIDAS product is installed. (Location: My Computer > HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > MIDAS)

4) Select the program folder for which you want to reset the user environment, and press the Delete key.

5) When you reopen the program, you will see that the shortcut icons and screen layout have been reset to their default settings.
