ILM Reaction Created Edited

Reaction by Position Data

Function

  • In the case of a bridge constructed by the ILM, the nodes, with the support conditions assigned to reflect the pier/buttress supports, change progressively as the construction stages proceed in the process of the launching operations. Reaction by Position Data enables us to check the changes of support reactions at various pier support positions with the progress of construction stages. Relevant pier locations are specified to check the changing reactions. If the ILM Wizard is used the support points are auto-generated.
  • The information on the reaction points entered by this feature is applied to Results > ILM Reactions > Reaction by Position.

Call

From the main menu, select [Results] tab > [Type : Bridge Specialization] > [Reaction] group > [ILM Reaction] > [Reaction by Position Data]

Name

Enter the reaction point information. You may find it convenient if the Name explicates the locations of piers and abutments.

NOTE.pngThe use of the ILM Wizard automatically assigns the following names for the reaction points. 자유도 Constrained degrees of freedom: Support 1, Support 2, ... Translational Y& Z and rotational MX are constrained. Translational X is constrained only at the location of braking saddle.

Elastic spring supports: Spring Support 1, Spring Support 2, ...

The sequential numbers at the ends are automatically assigned in an ascending order in the GCS X-axis and Z-axis coordinates.

Description

A brief description may be provided.

Reaction Position Table

The node numbers corresponding to the defined piers and buttresses for each construction stage are entered.

Stage : Construction stage name.

Node : Node number of reaction point for the corresponding construction stage.
