Function
- Check the internal forces and stresses of elastic links from the analysis results in a spreadsheet format table.
- Table Tool in midas Civil offers a variety of powerful built-in functions. Refer to Usage of Table Tool for detail directions:
Call
From the main menu, select [Results] tab > [Type : Analysis result] > [Table] group > [Results Tables] > [Eleastic Link]
Input
When you execute the Elastic Link Table function, the Records Activation Dialog will appear. Here, you can select the target nodes, elements, load conditions, construction stages, and other options. After making your selections, click the OK button to generate the table. If you click Cancel, the table will be generated for all targets, which may take a considerable amount of time depending on the case.

No. : Elastic Link Element number
Stage : Construction stage
Step : Sub-stage
Node-i : Start node number of Elastic Link Element
Node-j : End node number of Elastic Link Element
Load : Unit load case
Axial : Axial force
Shear - y : Shear force in the element's local y-direction
Shear - z : Shear force in the element's local z-direction
Torsion : Torsional moment about the element's local x-axis
Moment - y : Bending moment about the element's local y-axis
Moment - z : Bending moment about the element's local z-axis
