Truss Summary Result Table

Function

  • Produce the results of inelastic hinge formation of the truss type in a spreadsheet format table.
  • Table Tool in midas Civil offers a variety of powerful built-in functions. Refer to Usage of Table Tool for detail directions:

 

Call

From the main menu, select [Results] tab > [Type : Time History Analysis] > [Table] group > [Result Tables] > [Inelastic Hinge] > [Truss Summary]

 

Input

When the Truss Summary function is executed, the "Records Activation Dialog" is called. Here, you select the output targets such as nodes and elements, load conditions, eigenmode shapes, etc., and then click the OK button. Depending on the case, it may take a considerable amount of time.

Inelastic Hinge Prop. : Inelastic Hinge Property name defined

Load : Time History Load

Time/Step : Time/Step

Deform : Deformation occurred at the current step

Force : Member force occurred at the current step

D/D1 : Ductility (Deformation / 1st Yielding Deformation)

D/D2 : Ductility (Deformation / 2nd Yielding Deformation)

Status : Hinge Status (Elastic, 1st Yield, 2nd Yield, 3rd Yield)

P1 : 1st Yielding Strength

P2 : 2nd Yielding Strength - produced only for Trilinear and Tetralinear hysteresis models

P3 : 3rd Yielding Strength - produced only for Tetralinear hysteresis model

D1 : 1st Yielding Deformation

D2 : 2nd Yielding Deformation - produced only for Trilinear and Tetralinear hysteresis models

D3 : 3rd Yielding Deformation - produced only for Tetralinear hysteresis model
