Equilibrium Element Nodal Force Result Table

Function

  • Check element nodal forces in a structure due to external loads calculated using Initial Force Control Data in a spreadsheet format table.
  • The Table Tool in midas Civil is a powerful and versatile feature that comes with various functions. For detailed instructions on how to use the Table Tool, please refer to the Table Tool's user manual.

 

Call

From main menu, select [Results] tab > [Type : Analysis result] > [Table] group > [Results Tables] > [Equilibrium Element Nadal Force]

Type : Type of the element

ID : Element ID

Element Nodal Force - i

Element nodal forces at the I-End of an element

Element Nodal Force - j

Element nodal forces at the J-End of an element

Fx : Nodal forces in the local x-direction of an element

Fy : Nodal forces in the local y-direction of an element

Fz : Nodal forces in the local z-direction of an element

Mx : Bending Moments about the local x-direction of an element

My : Bending Moments about the local y-direction of an element

Mz : Bending Moments about the local z-direction of an element

Member Nodal Force - i

Member nodal force at the i-th end of the member

Member Nodal Force - j

Member nodal force at the j-th end of the member

Axial: Axial force

Shear(y) : Shear force in the y-direction of the member's coordinate system

Shear(z) : Shear force in the z-direction of the member's coordinate system

Torsion : Torsional moment

Moment(y) : Bending moment in the y-direction of the member's coordinate system

Moment(z) : Bending moment in the z-direction of the member's coordinate system
