Function
- The load reduction method in Pushover analysis can be categorized into two approaches: Load Control and Displacement Control. Under Load Control.
- There are three specific methods (refer to Pushover Load Cases), among which the Pushover Increment Function allows the user to define the load increment function directly.
Call
From main menu, select [Poshover] tab > [Load Case] group > [Pushover Increment Function]
Input
Pushover Increment Functions dialog box
Import CSV File...
Enter the Increment Control Function by reading previously created files. The data are saved as '.csv' extension.
User Input
The user directly enters the Increment Control Function.
The input data is independent of the number of increments, so there is no need to modify it even if the number of increments is changed. For example, in the two cases below,
No. |
Function |
---|---|
0 | 0.0 |
1 | 0.6 |
5 | 1.0 |
or
No. | Function |
---|---|
0 | 0.0 |
1 | 0.6 |
5 | 1.0 |
When the total number of increments is 10, the actual load variables used in the analysis are as follows: The number of increments is entered in the "Pushover Load Cases" section.
No. | Function | No. | Function |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 0.30 | 6 | 0.80 |
2 | 0.60 | 7 | 0.85 |
3 | 0.65 | 8 | 0.90 |
4 | 0.70 | 9 | 0.95 |
5 | 0.75 | 10 | 1.00 |
