Register Protection Key

User ID / Passward

The authentication process involves entering a user ID and password through the Internet, without the use of a dongle. This method is implemented in the MIDAS Family Program.

Key Number

Enter the Protection Key ID that was sent to the user's email, as recorded on the confirmation receipt.

For security reasons, the Protection Key ID can only be provided to the designated program administrator's email address. If there is a change in the program administrator, please inform our company of the details.


Key Type

Stand Alone : This refers to the case where a dongle is connected to each individual computer. Most industry users use the Stand Alone method.

Network : In this method, a dongle is inserted into a server computer, and client computers connected to the server obtain program usage authentication by accessing the server. This method is currently applied to the educational version distributed in academic settings. Both the server and clients must select the Network method.


Protocol

Select the protocol used for network configuration between the server and clients.


Server Name or IP Address

In the case of using a fixed IP address:

Server : Enter the IP address of the respective computer.

Client : Enter the network identification name or IP address of the server computer.

In the case of using a dynamic IP address:

Server : Enter the IP as "127.0.0.1." This is a loopback IP address that enables self-recognition when using a dynamic IP address.

Client : Enter the network identification name of the server computer.
