Question
How can I load a Land XML file into CIM, taking into account the coordinate information of the Land XML file?
Answer
By specifying the coordinate system of CIM through the Geographic Coordinate option setting, you can import the Land XML file into CIM and retain the coordinate information.
When creating a new CIM file, the CIM workspace does not have a coordinate system (Geographic Coordinate) set. If you load a file with coordinate information into a CIM file without a Geographic Coordinate set, the file information will be brought in based on the coordinates within the CIM workspace.
Therefore, to load a file with coordinate information while considering the actual coordinates, you need to set the coordinate system in the Ribbon Menu's Base > Option > Coordinate.
The setting of the coordinate system should match the coordinate system to be referenced in the ongoing project and the CIM's coordinate system. (CIM workspace and coordinate system settings↗)
