Define Flange & Web

  • This function is used to define the flange and web as per the classification defined in the Eurocode ( EN 1993-1-1:2005). The distinction is necessary for the program to distinguish the top flange, bottom flange and the web for the determination of the Section Class as per the code for the Composite General Section generated using SPC. This function is not required for the composite plate girder (defined using the section database of midas Civil).
