Define Rating Case

Function

  • Assign the Bridge Load Rating Setting to the corresponding structure.

 

Call

From the main menu, select [Rating] tab > [Type : PSC Bridge] > [Rating Input Data] group > [Define Rating Case]

 

Input

Static Load Combination

Service Limit State : Select the design condition of Service Limit State.

Strength Limit State : Select the design condition of Strength Limit State.

Load Type : Display the Load Type considered for Rating Design.

DC : Enter the Load Factor for DC. DC is the dead load of structural components and non-structural attachments.

max : The maximum LRFD Load factor for the dead load of structural components and non-structural attachments.

min : The minimum LRFD Load factor for the dead load of structural components and non-structural attachments.

DW : Enter the factor of DW. DW is the dead load of wearing surfaces and utilities.

max : The maximum LRFD Load factor for the dead load of wearing surfaces and utilities.

min : The minimum LRFD Load factor for the dead load of wearing surfaces and utilities.

Secondary : Input the load factor for the indeterminate force generated by the tendon tensile stress in an indeterminate structure.

Temperature : Input the load factor for the force due to Temperature Load.

User Defined : Input the load factor for a user-defined force.

NOTE.png

Load Cases can be only selected from static loads, and only Prestress load cases should be selected for secondary type.


Live Load Combination

Primary Vehicle : Select the Primary Vehicle live load for Bridge Load Rating Design and enter the corresponding factor.

Adjacent Vehicle : Select the Adjacent Vehicle live load for Bridge Load Rating Design and enter the corresponding factor.


Name of Rating Case

Enter the name at Name of Rating Case.


Description

Enter a brief description for Rating Case at Description.

add.png : Add a Rating Case.

modify.png : Modify a Rating Case.

delete.png : Delete a Rating Case.
