From the main menu: [View] tab > [Display] group > [Transparency] > [Transparency]

Transparency
Sets the transparency of the selected object.
Transparency Off
Disables the transparency setting for the selected object.
Transparency All
Sets the transparency of all objects.
Transparency All Off
Disables the transparency setting for all objects.
Select Opacity in the Status Bar, then adjust the transparency.
