Function
- Specify the convergence conditions for performing a cracked section analysis to calculate the cracking deflections in meshed slab. After performing cracked section analysis in Perform Cracked Section Analysis, the cracking deflection can be checked in Slab Serviceability Checking.
Note
In order to use this function, Eurocode2:05 must be selected in Design > Concrete Design Parameter > Design Code, and it performs cracked section analysis based on the standards.
Call
From the Main Menu select [Design] tab > [Type : Meshed Design] > [Perform/Result] group > [Cracked Section Analysis Control] > [Cracked Section Analysis Control]
Input
Cracked Section Analysis Option
Number of Iterations/Load Case : Enter the maximum number of iterations used to determine the converged condition for each load case.
Convergence Tolerance : Enter the convergence tolerance.
Note
Displacement error norm
The degree of convergence of the result due to iterative nonlinear analysis is expressed in terms of displacement. If the Displacement error norm is less than the Convergence Tolerance, the analysis result is considered to be convergent.
Consider creep coefficient for crept deflection : The analysis is performed by the concrete strength reduced by creep.
Note
- Ec_eff (concrete strength reduced by creep) = Ec / (1+Creep Coefficient)
- n = Es / Ec_eff
