Vertex Matching

Summary

  • Edit the vertex matching state of start and end sections of a member.

 

 

How to Run

  • Ribbon Menu > [Model] Tab > [Member] Group > General > Vertex Matching

[Curve Library Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Curve Library] Tab > [Expression Entity] Group > Path Linked > Vertex Matching

[Assembly Unit Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Assembly Unit] Tab > [Expression Entity] Group > Path Linked > Vertex Matching

 

Explanation

Edit Vertex Matching State

Edit the vertex matching state of a general member set in the tapered section.

 

 

[Select Member]

Select the tapered section member to perform vertex matching.

 

Note 
Only General Members with different User Sections for the start and end cross sections can be selected as a target.

 

[Vertex Set]

Select the Vertex Set to edit.

 

Note 
Select a Vertex Set in the table.
On the screen, that vertex set (the connections between vertices) is represented as selected.

 

[Rotate Vertex Matching]

- Target Section
Select the Target Section to determine the location in the Vertex Set where the rotational movement is needed.

- Move the Target Vertex via the Clockwise or Countclockwise buttons.

- Preview to confirm the change geometry, then complete the Vertex Matching operation.
