How to Run

[Curve Library / Assembly Unit Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Model] Tab > [Component] Group > Tendon > Create

 

 

Explanation

Tendon Combination

Create a Longitudinal Tendon by combining the Tendon Profiles.

 


[Tab] Create

[Reference Point]

Defines the reference origin of the tendon coordinates.

Offset (Horizontal/Vertical): Define the reference point by moving it horizontally/vertically from the start point of the Tendon Path as input.

 

[Anchorage]

Set the Anchorage of the Tendon defined by the Anchorage function.

 

[Preview]

Shows the preview of the created tendon.

Sub Panel

[Section View]

This is the view of the Tendon direction section.

The positions of the Tendon Point and the Reference Point are shown in red and blue, respectively.

The position of the upper dial at the bottom of Section View indicates the station where the current section is located. (Left → Right)

The lower dial at the bottom of Section View can adjust the size of the Tendon name.

 

[Side View]

Displays the side view of the direction of the tendon progression. This indicates the placement of a set Vertical Profile.

 

[Top View]

Displays the top view of the direction of the tendon progression. This indicates the placement of a set Horizontal Profile.

 

[Profile Combination Table]

Combines the Vertical Profile and Horizontal Profile, and places the Tendon in 3D space.

Detailed Explanation (Profile Combination Table)

 

Tendon Name : Enter the name of the tendon.

Vertical Profile : Select Vertical Profile.

Horizontal Profile : Select Horizontal Profile.

 

Note 
The Verical / Horizontal Profile can be selected within the Profile Group set up by the Tendon Group.

Horizontal Offset : Based on the Reference Point, enter the Offset value to move the Tendon in the horizontal direction (Y direction).

Rotation Angle : Enter the angle at which to rotate relative to the axis of rotation.

Rotation Point : Sets the axis that passes through the reference point of the tendon.

Projection : Select whether to project the tendon.

Off : Rotates the tendon profile relative to its axis.

On : Project the tendon profile to a plane rotated about its axis. (Used primarily to maintain Offset-Z values)
