Note
Rebar Specification
[Hook]
Set the shape of a hook.
Differenct Start/End Hook : Set whether to apply hook settings differently to the start and end point of the hook.
Direction : Sets the direction of the hook.
Hook Type : Select the type of hook.
Angle : Enter the angle of the hook.
Radius : Enter the radius of the hook.
Length : Enter the length of the hook.
Differenct Start/End Hook
Off : Applies same hook settings to start and end point of the hook.
On : Applies different hook settings to start and end point of the hook. This enables the Start/End Point Tab button.
Direction
Perpendicular : The hook is created in a direction perpendicular to the transverse rebar.
Parallel : The hook is created in a direction parallel to the transverse rebar.
Vertical : A hook is created vertically on the draw plane.
Horizontal : A hook is created horizontally on the draw plane.
Hook Type : Select the hook type based on the angle.
No Hook : The hook is not created.
Custom Hook : The hook is created based on the hook angle entered by the user.
±180°, ±135°, ±90° : The hook is created according to the information specified in ‘Rebar Specification’. For this setting, the angle/radius/length cannot be set manually.
[Offset]
Adjust the extension length at both ends of the rebar.
Start/End Length : Enter the extension length at the start and end of the rebar. Enter a positive (+) value to shorten, and a negative (-) value to extend.
Start/End Spacing : When placing longitudinal rebars, enter the distance from the start and end points.
[Plane Alignment]
Sets the constraint reference point of the Rebar (Start/End) Plane.
Ref. Point (Start/End) : Select the starting point/center point/end point above the geometric line of the target member and use when recreating the rebar group.
When the rebar group is recreated, the start and end planes of the rebar group are also recreated from the constraint reference points set by the user.
Start Point : The start point of the Target Member Geometric line
Middle Point : The middle point of the Target Member Geometric line
End Point : The end point of the Target Member Geometric line
If the user changes the Plane Alignment settings, the information is saved based on the following rules:
If the Plane Alignment settings in the same mode are changed : The plane position of the rebar group does not change. The distance from the plane to the new Ref. Point is changed internally.
When recreating a target member (Geometric line changes, Library assignment, etc.) : The rebar group is recreated using the direction information and the distance between the Ref. Point and the plane.
Array Tab
[Arrangement]
Set the spacing of longitudinal bars.
Adjustable Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing.
First Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing, and then adjust from the first spacing.
Last Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing, and then adjust from the last spacing.
Middle Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing, and then adjust from the middle spacing.
First/Last Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing, and then adjust base on equidistant spacing between the first and last spacing.
Number of Rebars : Arrage the rebars using the number of rebars entered.
Uniform Max. Spacing : Arrage the rebars at equal spacing.
Pattern Spacing : Arrange according to the entered spacing. Do not arrange for any remaining values less than the entered spacing.
Ex) 3@200, 400, 5@150
Orthgonal Spacing & Snap : Sets the criteria for the longitudinal rebar spacing.
Off : The spacing entered by the user is applied between the longitudinal rebars.
On : The longitudinal rebar spacing is based on the x and y axis of the rebar plane.
Direction : Select the reference axis to arrange the longitudinal rebar spacing.
X-Axis : Arranges the longitudinal rebars using the user-defined spacing values based on the x-axis.
Y-Axis : Arranges the longitudinal rebars using the user-defined spacing values based on the y-axis.
For an independent longitudinal rebar, the Array Unit Option and the Hidden Line option can be used.
Array Unit Option : Select whether the user will manually set the Hidden Line spacing.
On : The Hidden Line spacing is positioned at the value set by the program to create the
independent longitudinal rebar.
It is set to 'Adjustable Spacing : 0.2 m'.
Off : The Hidden Line spacing is positioned at the value set by the user to create the independent longitudinal rebar.
To reduce the error margin for independent longitudinal rebar shapes such as curved reinforcement, the user can reduce the size of spacing.
Hidden Line : Reference line used to draw longitudinal rebars.
The spacing setting is same as the ‘Arrangement Setting’.
[Actual Spacing]
Displays the actual spacing used to arrange the rebars.
[Splice]
Set the splice for the rebar group.
Edit Splice by Table : Selects the splice method. When enabled, the splice settings can be modified from the table.
Off : The user edits the splice through the settings.
Splice Type : Selects the type of rebar splice. (None / Lap / Coupler / Welding)
Lap : This is a multilayer splice method that connects the rebars into a continuous line of rebar.
Coupler : This splice method connects two rebars using a coupler.
Welding : This splice method connects two rebars using welding.
Two-Way Splice : Sets the splice direction.
On : Sets the splice direction towards the start and end points. This enables the Forward & Backward Tab, and each splice direction can be set.
Off : Sets the splice in one direction.
Reverse Direction : When enabled, the splice direction is reversed.
Bar Length : Enter the splice spacing. Different spacings can be used. The splice can be created by clicking on the representative rebar.
Alternate Length : Enter the spacing for 1Cycle and 2Cycle splices. This arranges the splice in a zig-zag shape.
Lap Length : Enter the length of the lap splice. (Only enabled for Lap Type)
Bar Arrangement : Set the arrangement type of overlapping splices. (Only enabled for Lap Type)
Left-Right : Arranged in a zig-zag form from left to right from the start point.
Right-Left : Arranged in a zig-zag form from right to left from the start point.
On : Edit the splice settings from the table.
Splice Table
The diameter for each sub-group (Rebar groups separated by splice) can be modified.
Direction : The direction of the splice can be set. (F : Forward, B : Backward)
[Variable Rebar Name]
Sets the name rule within the rebar group.
Array Group : Set the name of each arranged rebar differently.
Splice Group : Set the name of each regar group according to the splice group.
