Detailed Explanation (Hook)

Different Start/End Hook

Off : Applies same hook settings to start and end point of the hook.

On : Applies different hook settings to start and end point of the hook. This enables the Start/End Point Tab button.

Direction

Plane : The hook is created on the plane of the transverse rebar.

Custom : The hook is created at a user-defined angle.

Rotation Angle : The angle at which the hook is rotated from the baseline (0≤θ≤180)

Rotation Baseline : The transverse rebar attached to the hook

Rotation Direction : Clockwise

Location : The ‘Offset’ criteria changes based on settings.

Normal : A hook is created based on the inner line drawn by the user to draw the transverse rebar.

Extended : A hook is created based on the outer line drawn by the user to draw the transverse rebar.

Hook Type : Select the hook type based on the angle.

No Hook : The hook is not created.

Custom Hook : The hook is created based on the hook angle entered by the user.

±180°, ±135°, ±90° : The hook is created according to the information specified in ‘Rebar Specification’. For this setting, the angle/radius/length cannot be set manually.

[Cover Thickness]

Sets the cover property that adjusts the position of the rebar group in the member.

On Plane : Enter the rebar cover thickness on the plane. This is at an offset from the line created by the user.

On Plane Cover Align Center : Set the criteria for ‘On Plane’.

From Start/End Plane : Enter the rebar cover thickness from the start and end planes.

From Plane Cover Align Center : Sets the criteria for ‘From Plane’.

[Offset]

Adjust the extension length at both ends of the rebar.

Start/End Length : Enter the extension length at the start and end of the rebar. Enter a positive (+) value to shorten, and a negative (-) value to extend.

[Part Length]

Set the length of both end areas before and after rebar bending.

Start Length : Sets the length of the end area on the start side of the reinforcement.

End Length : Sets the length of the end area on the end of the reinforcement.

Detailed Explanation (Start/End Part)

Start/End Length Check Option

Off : Start/End Length settings are not applied.

On : Applies the length setting of the end area on the start/end point side. The rebar shape changes based on the length value.

Positive Value : Defines the rebar length in the forward direction.

Negative Value : Defines the rebar length in the reverse direction.

0 : Does not draw to the start and end part. (The length is 0 after bending.)

[Plane Alignment]

Sets the constraint reference point of the Rebar (Start/End) Plane.

Ref. Point (Start/End) : Select the starting point/center point/end point above the geometric line of the target member and use when recreating the rebar group.

Detailed Explanation (Plane Alignment)

When the rebar group is recreated, the start and end planes of the rebar group are also recreated from the constraint reference points set by the user.

Start Point : The start point of the Target Member Geometric line

Middle Point : The middle point of the Target Member Geometric line

End Point : The end point of the Target Member Geometric line

If the user changes the Plane Alignment settings, the information is saved based on the following rules:

If the Plane Alignment settings in the same mode are changed : The plane position of the rebar group does not change. The distance from the plane to the new Ref. Point is changed internally.

When recreating a target member (Geometric line changes, Library assignment, etc.) : The rebar group is recreated using the direction information and the distance between the Ref. Point and the plane.

Array Tab

[Arrangement]

Sets the spacing for the rebars.

Detailed Explanation (Arrangement)

Adjustable Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing.

First Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing, and then adjust from the first spacing.

Last Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing, and then adjust from the last spacing.

Middle Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing, and then adjust from the middle spacing.

First/Last Spacing : Arrange the rebars using the entered spacing, and then adjust base on equidistant spacing between the first and last spacing.

Number of Rebars : Arrage the rebars using the number of rebars entered.

Uniform Max. Spacing : Arrage the rebars at equal spacing.

Pattern Spacing : Arrange according to the entered spacing. Do not arrange for any remaining values less than the entered spacing.

User Defined : Arrange the rebars using user-defined spacing.

Ex) 3@200, 400, 5@150

[Actual Spacing]

Displays the actual spacing used to arrange the rebars.

[Splice]

Set the splice for the regar group.

Detailed Explanation (Splice)

Edit Splice by Table : Selects the splice method. When enabled, the splice settings can be modified from the table.

Off : The user edits the splice through the settings.

Splice Type : Selects the type of rebar splice. (None / Lap / Coupler / Welding)

Lap : This is a multilayer splice method that connects the rebars into a continuous line of rebar

Coupler : This splice method connects two rebars using a coupler.

Welding : This splice method connects two rebars using welding.

Two-Way Splice : Sets the splice direction.

On : Sets the splice direction towards the start and end points. This enables the Forward & Backward Tab, and each splice direction can be set.

Off : Sets the splice in one direction.

Reverse Direction : When enabled, the splice direction is reversed.

Bar Length : Enter the splice spacing. Different spacings can be used. The splice can be created by clicking on the representative rebar.

Alternate Length : Enter the spacing for 1Cycle and 2Cycle splices. This arranges the splice in a zig-zag shape.

Lap Length : Enter the length of the lap splice. (Only enabled for Lap Type)

Bar Arrangement : Set the arrangement type of overlapping splices. (Only enabled for Lap Type)

Left-Right : Arranged in a zig-zag form from left to right from the start point.

Right-Left : Arranged in a zig-zag form from right to left from the start point.
