How to Run
- Ribbon Menu > [Edit] Tab > [Edit Shape] Group > Modify > 1D Direction
Explanation
Modify(1D Direction) Feature
Reverses the orientation of the 1D Geometry.
[Method]
Select the Method to change the 1D direciton.
Reverse : Reverses the direction of the selected 1D Geometry.
Align : Sorts the selected 1D Geometry’s start and end points based on the point that is closer to the reference vertex.
Method > Reverse Detailed Operations
Method > Align Detailed Operations
[Select Target]
Select a 1D Geometry.
[Select Reference Vertex]
Displays when Method > Align.
Direction change implications for a 1D Geometry
If the 1D Member is created using two points, (0,0,0) and (2000,0,0), the properties window of the corresponding member is as follows.
If the geometry of the 1D Member is reversed, the shape does not change but the properties are changed as shown below.
