Offset Feature

A feature that creates a copy by applying an Offset to the selected object.

Select the type of the target object. When selecting an edge, the filter works so that only the edge can be selected.

Edge

Copy and create a 1D Member at a location that is offset by an Offset distance.

Detailed Explanation (Edge, 1D Member - Define Plane)

 

This block is activated when an Edge or a 1D Member is selected as the target object in the Selection Filter. The user can select the plane on which the copied object is placed.

 

If not defined

If no plane is selected, a copy is created on the same plane as the plane on which the target object is placed.


If defined

If a plane is defined, an offset is applied in the direction of the defined plane to create a copy.
