How to Run

  • Ribbon Menu > [Model] Tab > [Tools] Group > Measure

 

 

Explanation

Coordinate Measure

Measure coordinates.

 

 

[Classification]

Select coordinats.

 

[Method]

Select the method to measure coordinate.

Point : Select the coordinates manually.

Select Vertex : Select the existing vertex.

By Layout : Select layout, and enter the station for which you want to get coordinates.

 

[Value]

The x, y, z coordinates of the selected point ared displayed.

 

Slope Measure

Measure slope.

 


[Classification]

Select the slope.

 

[Select Path]

Set the reference path.

 

[Pick Point on Face]

Select a point on the surface to measure the slope from the path.

 

[Value]

Displays the slope (%), the ratio of horizontal distance to vertical distance 1, and the slope angle value.

 

 

 

Distance Measure

Measure distance.

 


[Classification]

Select the distance(Length).

 

[Method]

Select the method to measure coordinate.

Point-Point : Measures the distance between two points.

Point-Sub Shape : Mesures the shortest distance between a point and a sub-shape.

Between Sub Shapes : Measures the shortest distance between two sub-shapes.

Curve Length : Measures the sum of one or more edges.

 

[Value]

Displayed the measured value.

 

Tangent Measure

Measure the direction vector.

 


[Classification]

Select the tangent.

 

[Pick Edge]

Select the edge to measure.

 

[Value]

The direction vector of the selected edge is displayed.

 

Angle Measure

Measure angle.

 


[Classification]

Select the angle.

 

[Method]

Select the method to measure the angle.

3 Points : Select the start point, center point, end point to measure the angle in between.

Line-Line : Measure the intersecting angle between the two edges.

 

[Value]

Display the measured distance.

 

Area Measure

Measure area.

 


[Classification]

Select the area.

 

[Method]

Select the method to measure area.

Select Face(s) : Measure the area of the selected faces.

Select Body(s) : Measure the surface area of the selected bodies.

 

[Value]

Display the measured area.

 

Volume Measure

Measure volume.

 


[Classification]

Select volume.

 

[Select Target]

Select the 3D body to measure volume.

 

[Value]

Displays the measured volume.
