Path Linked Created Edited

Create Plane(Line) Type

Summary

  • Generates an object bound by the Constraint Path.
  • The bound curve is identical to the geometric line of the Path Linked Entity, and the object length changes based on the path length.

How to Run

[Curve Library Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Curve Library] Tab > [Expression Entity] Group > Path Linked > Create Plane Type
  • Ribbon Menu > [Curve Library] Tab > [Expression Entity] Group > Path Linked > Create Line Type

[Assembly Unit Mode]

  • Ribbon Menu > [Assembly Unit] Tab > [Expression Entity] Group > Path Linked > Create Plane Type
  • Ribbon Menu > [Assembly Unit] Tab > [Expression Entity] Group > Path Linked > Create Line Type

Explanation

Create Path Linked Entities

Create a member using the cross section of an existing User Section along the Constraint Path direction and bound it to the Path.

[Constraint Path]

Path Select the path to which the Linked Entity is bound.

Default Constraint Path : Constrain the member to the Default Constraint Path, which is automatically generated when the library is created.

Main Constraint Path : Constrain the member to the Main Constraint Path that you added after creating the library.

[Tapered Section]

Set whether to create a cross section of the Path Linked Entity.

[Material Type]

Set the material type of the Path Linked Entity.

[Constraint Path]

Set the path to which the Path Linked Entity is bounded.

Default Constraint Path : Constrain the member to the Default Constraint Path that is automatically genereted when creating a library.

Main Constraint Path : Constrain the member to the Main Constraint Path created after the library is created.

[Select User Section]

Set the User Section to use.

Note
Based on the Material Type settings, the User Section corresponding material is populated in the list.

[Assign User Section]

Place the User Section on the screen.

Complete the placement by clicking the Assign button.

Enter the coordinates of the origin point.

Enter a Vector value to consider rotation placement in the User Section

Note
The User Section of the Path Linked Entity can be only placed on a plane in the normal direction from the start and end points of the constrained path.
