How to generate the satellite image of any specific location in CIM?

Answer

To generate a satellite image of a specific location in CIM, the project must have a Terrain surface with the Geographic coordinates of that location. Once the terrain is set with the correct coordinates, follow these steps:

Step-1: Go to Create Ground option under the Model ribbon

Step-2: Select Cloud Image mapping (4th option) in the Ground Surface menu.

Step-3: Click on the Ground surface of terrain in the model window.

Step-4: Choose the Mosaic size:

1x1 - Highest resolution
2x2 - Lowest resolution

Step-5: Click Apply to generate the satellite image.

An image as final result of this process is shown below:
