[CIM] What should be an ideal workflow for modeling in CIM?

Question

What should be an ideal workflow for modeling in CIM?

Answer

The modeling workflow in CIM follows a structured, mode-based process that allows you to model bridge structures systematically. It begins with setting up the project in the Base Mode and then moves through different dedicated modes like Point Library Mode, Curve Library Mode, and Assembly Unit Mode.

Subsequently, alignments are created and these assemblies are assigned to it. The workflow also includes sub-modes like User Section Mode, Rebar Draw Mode, Stiffener Mode, Analysis Mode and Construction Mode for handling detailed modeling and analysis tasks.

This sequential process ensures flexibility and control over bridge modeling in CIM.

A detailed explanatory video showing each mode, their usage, and the overall workflow is attached below for reference.
