What is the difference between the ‘By Distance’ and ‘By Ratio’ options available in the Curve Library settings?

Answer

While defining a new plane in a curve library, we must choose between the 'By Distance' and 'By Ratio' options.

When a plane is created using the 'By Distance' option, it will maintain the same distance from the reference point, when the curve library is assigned to paths in higher modes such as Assembly Unit or Base Mode.

When a plane is created using the 'By Ratio' option, it will maintain the same proportional distance relative to the total length of the curve library, when assigned to paths in higher modes like Assembly Unit or Base Mode.
