Answer

While creating a plane in a Curve Library using the 'By Distance' option, we need to select a 'Reference Point'.

The distance between the plane and the selected 'Reference Point' will remain constant when the Curve Library is assigned to a higher mode such as Assembly Unit or Base Mode.

To explain this concept, consider that we define a plane at a distance of 3m from the starting plane, with the reference point also set as the Start Plane. Then, we define a member that starts from this plane and ends at the End Plane. Now, when we assign this Curve Library to a higher mode such as Base Mode or Assembly Unit Mode, the distance between the Start Plane and the member will still remain 3m.
