How to hide/unhide a structure group in CIM?
Answer
Follow the steps below to hide/unhide a structure group in CIM:
Note: Before starting with the steps mentioned below, make sure that your members in the model are assigned with Structure tree. [Reference FAQ: How to define Structure Tree in CIM?]
For the demonstration of this FAQ, we have used the example of an RC T-Girder bridge, in which the structure tree was already defined.
Step 1: In the Base mode of CIM, go to Base Ribbon> Structure Tree option
[This option is available in all the major modes of CIM like Point library mode, Curve library mode, Assembly unit mode and Base mode.]
An entire structure tree will appear in the menu panel.
Step 2: Click on to Hide any particular structure tree object or group from model window.
[For an example, we are hiding "Pier-A" structure group from the model.]

Alternatively, we can select the Structure group or object by double clicking on the name. After the selection we will go to model window and press the mouse right click button. A menu panel will be displayed, from where we can choose the option Hide Selected.
