How to change visual appearance of model in CIM?
Answer
Follow the steps below to change the visual appearance of CIM model:
Step: On the top right corner of the modelling window, 4 icons are provided for changing the visual appearance of the model in CIM (as shown below):
Using the left mouse click, users can select and apply their desired visual appearance mode for the model display.
- Auto Edge:
Automatically switches the object display to Edge Only mode while panning, zooming in/out, or rotating the model, optimizing performance and visibility.
Shading + Edge:
Displays the model with both surface shading (color/texture) and edge outlines (lines and curves), providing a detailed view of geometry.
Shade Only:
Displays only the surface shading (color/texture) without showing edge lines, which is ideal for realistic visualization.
Edge Only:
Displays only the edges (lines and curves) of the model without surface shading, which is useful for clear structural outlines or reviewing geometry.
