How to activate the Axis at the Datum in CIM?
Answer
CIM works with the axis based modelling logic. Namely, X, Y and the Z axis of the UCS (User Coordinate System)
for the 3D geometric modelling. The Axis can be switched ON or OFF as per the modelling requirement. When
working with a new model file, users can activate this axis from the View Option function in the Base ribbon.
Steps to activate the Axis in the CIM interface are highlighted below.
Step 1 - In the Base ribbon, click on View icon.
The View Option properties panel appears. Navigate the cursor to the Display sub menu.
Step 2 - Click on the Axis slide button to Activate.
Once clicked, the Axis button turns to blue as shown here
To apply the function.
Step 3- Click on the Blue Plus icon.
The model space displays the Axis.
