How to divide one tapered member into several segments along with the desired tapering?
Answer
In CIM, you can create segment-wise tapering by first generating a tapered member (for example, 10 m in length). From that member, extract several user sections at different points( for example, at every 1m length).
Then, using those user sections, create multiple tapered members (in this example, 9 entities would be created).
Once all the tapered members are created, apply the Taper Group feature available under the Path Linked Entity menu. This option helps you achieve precise and continuous tapering across all segments, forming a smooth and accurate tapered structure.
