How to define elastic link in bearings?

To define elastic link in bearings , follow the steps as mentioned below.
Step 1: Open the Assembly unit in which both the superstructure library and the Pier library are assigned.
Step 2: Click on the 'Model' ribbon.
Step 3: Click on the 'Boundary' option.
Step 4: From the drop-down menu select 'Elastic' option.
Step 5: In the 'Elastic Link' panel displayed in the left, the 'Start vertex' option is highlighted. Using the mouse cursor select the top vertex of the bearing.
Step 6: The 'End vertex' option is highlighted. Using the mouse cursor select the bottom vertex of the bearing.
Step 7: Under the 'Link Type' section, choose the 'General' option.
Step 8: Under the 'Stiffness' section, enter the stiffness values of the elastic link as per requirement.
Step 9: Click on the 'Green Tick' to apply these changes.
You can now observe that elastic link has been defined between the bearing top and bottom of the bearing.
