How can a user start the bridge alignment from a specific Chainage station value instead of zero in CIM?
Answer
Follow the steps below to add the Chainage start value for an alignment in CIM:
In the Base mode of CIM,
Step 1: Go to Base Ribbon
Step 2: Under the dropdown menu of Layout, choose the "Create Edit" option
The Layout menu panel and sub-panel shall be displayed:
In that Menu panel,
Step 3: Enter the Chainage start value under the "Start Station" tab
Under the Preview panel, the Start and End position will get updated as shown in the image above.
This is how the chainage start station can be defined for a bridge alignment in MIDAS CIM.
