System Requirements
To install MIDAS GH, the following conditions are required:
- MIDAS CIVIL NX 2024 (v2.1) or higher version
- Rhino 7.0 or higher version
- Windows 11, 10, or 8.1. (Mac is not supported yet)
Installation Method
MIDAS GH can be downloaded from the official Rhino app download site, food4rhino.com, and can also be downloaded through Rhino's Package Manager.
First, go to the food4rhino website and click the login button at the top to proceed with logging in.
Second, There are two ways to log in: you can log in using your ① Username or email address, or you can log in using ② Rhino Accounts. ③If you do not have an account, you must first create one and then proceed with logging in
Next, you search for Midas or Midas GH in the search bar.
Next, select the following MIDAS GH in Browse.
And select the corresponding app and click the ① Download button at the top to download the latest version. If you want to ② download a legacy version, go to the Downloads tab below and download the desired version's Install File.
When you click the Install button, Rhino will launch automatically, and the Package Manager will open. Click Install here will complete the installation.
If you want to directly launch the Package Manager from Rhino, simply search for Package Manager in Rhino, and the above window will open.
After installation, you can confirm that the MIDAS tab has been created in Grasshopper.
If you download using the method described above, the downloaded files will be installed in the following path.: %appdata%\McNeel\Rhinoceros\packages\7.0
