- Divide elements automatically at the intersections of previously entered line elements (Truss, Beam, etc.).
Call
From the main menu, select [Node/Element] tab > [Element Detail] group > [Edit Elements] > [Intersect]
Shortcut key: [Alt]+8

Start Number
Node Number
Assign a starting node number for the newly created nodes at the intersections. This number is auto-set to the largest node number in use +1. To modify this item, click and select an option to specify a desired number.
Element Number
Assign new starting element for new elements being created. This number is auto-set to the largest element number in use +1. To modify this item, click and select an option to specify a desired number.
Intersect
Tolerance
Enter the distance (tolerance) defining the intersection range in which elements are allowed to intersect.
