Inelastic Properties Control Data

Function

This option is used to give parameters to auto-define a fiber section.

Call

From the main menu select [Properties] > [Inelastic Properties] > [Inel. Control Data] > [Inel. Control Data]

Input

Data for Strength Auto-Calculation of Hinges

Reference Location for Distributed Hinges

Beams: Select the reference location for auto calculation ( I-End, Center or J-End)

Fiber Model Option

Beam-Column

Consider Reinforcement Area: Reinforcement area is deducted from the concrete fiber when this option is activated.

Number of Divisions

Core: Area of section lying inside the center line of provided reinforcement in the section for checking under the design tab.

Fiber Areas

Auto Size: Fibers are automatically divided with finer size near edge and coarser size near core.

Equal-Size: All the fibers are equally divided.

Ny (y-dir): Number of divisions along local y-axis of the fiber section.

Nz (z-dir): Number of divisions along local z-axis of the fiber section.

Cover: Area of section lying outside the center line of provided reinforcement in the section for checking under the design tab.
