Inelastic Properties Control Data

Function

This is a dialog box to automatically generate a fiber model for the inelastic analysis.

To create a fiber model, the location of the reference section and mesh size are set in this dialog box.

Call

From the Main Menu select [Properties] tab > [Inelastic Properties] group > [Inel. Control Data] > [Inel. Control Data]

Input

Reference Location for Distributed Hinges

For beam, a fiber model is created for the cross section selected among i-end, middle, and j-end.

*Columns and walls are created with the middle section.

Fiber Model Option : Beam-Column

Set the number of divisions for automatic generation of the fiber model.

Enter the numbers in core(confined area) and cover(unconfined area) respectively.

Fiber Model Option : Wall

Set the number of divisions for automatic generation of the wall fiber model.

"Consider Out-of-plane Nonlinearity of Plate type" : If out-of-plane stiffness in nonlinear analysis is not considered, the y-direction of the cross section is not divided..

"Fiber Areas"

- Auto Size : Automatically generate the fiber model considering the location of the rebar.

- Equal Size : Automatically divides into equal intervals.
