Force Table

Function

  • Check the cable element forces in a spreadsheet format table.
  • Table Tool in Gen NX is powerful and contains a large variety of built-in functions.

 

Call

From the Main Menu select [Results] tab > [Type : Analysis Result] > [Tables] group > [Result Tables] > [Cable] > [Force Table]

 

Input

Upon executing Cable > Force Table, Records Activation Dialog prompts. Click the OK Button after selecting the output entities
such as nodes or elements, loading conditions, construction stages, etc. Press the Cancel Button to display all information about the object, and it may take a considerable time to display.

 

Note 
Refer to Results Table of "Usage of Table Tool" for the usage of Records Activation Dialog.

 

Refer to Usage of Table Tool and check the following data:

Elem : ID number of elements

Node I : Node ID number of Section I

Node J : Node ID number of Section J

Load : Loading condition

Tension : Cable tension at Section i

FX : Cable tension in GCS X-direction at Section i

FY : Cable tension in GCS Y-direction at Section i

FZ : Cable tension in GCS Z-direction at Section i

Tension : Cable tension at Section j

FX : Cable tension in GCS X-direction at Section j

FY : Cable tension in GCS Y-direction at Section j

FZ : Cable tension in GCS Z-direction at Section j
