Slab/Wall/Shell Rebars for Checking

Function

  • Enter the rebar data for members for strength verification.

 

Call

From the Main Menu select Design > Meshed Design > Design Input Data > Design Parameters > Slab/Wall/Shell Rebars for Checking

 

Input

Member Type

Select the Member Type to be modified.

 

Type Name

Enter the name of a Sub-Domain.

 

Element List

Enter the element numbers of the slab to enter the specified rebar data.

 

Slab/Mat

Enter the standard rebar sizes, the spacing of rebars and covers used in the slab/mat design.

 

Dir. 1

Top : Enter the standard rebar size and spacing of the rebar for the top of the slab/mat

Bottom : Enter the standard rebar size and spacing of the rebar for the bottom of the slab/mat

 

Dir. 2

Top : Enter the standard rebar size and spacing of the rebar for the top of the slab/mat

Bottom : Enter the standard rebar size and spacing of the rebar for the bottom of the slab/mat

 

Add Rebar1 & Rebar2 :

Select the additional rebar.

Cover to Rebar

Distance between center of selected rebar in the top layer/bottom layer and top/bottom surface of the section

 

Wall

Enter the standard rebar sizes, the spacing of rebars and covers used in the wall design.

Vertical : Standard sizes for vertical rebars used in wall design

Horizontal : Standard size for horizontal rebars used in wall design

dw : Distance between the center of the end vertical rebars and the end of the shear wall (cover thickness)

 

Shell

Enter the standard rebar sizes, the spacing of rebars and covers used in the shell design.

Dir. 1

Top : Enter the standard rebar size and spacing of the rebar for the top of the shell

Bottom : Enter the standard rebar size and spacing of the rebar for the bottom of the shell

 

Dir. 2

Top : Enter the standard rebar size and spacing of the rebar for the top of the shell

Bottom : Enter the standard rebar size and spacing of the rebar for the bottom of the shell

 

Add Rebar1 :

Select the additional rebar.

 

Note 
Consider Iteration for Optimal design :

 

If you Check off the option, default height of Sandwich thickness is defined as the thickness of 20% of shell.

If you Check on the option, the optimum sandwich thickness will be automatically calculated and used in the analysis.

Number of Iteration : Enter the maximum number of iterations.

Convergence Tolerance : Enter the Convergence Tolerance value.
