Question
I am curious about how to install and activate .NET Framework.
Answer
.NET Framework is a program necessary for building and running applications, and it is essential when running MIDAS programs.
1. Activating .NET Framework
Activate the .NET Framework that is currently disabled.
1) Enter 'Turn Windows features on or off' in the taskbar search box and run it.
2) In the 'Turn Windows features on or off' window that appears, Check on .NET Framework 3.5 (including .NET 2.0 and 3.0).
3) Proceed with all installation processes performed by Windows.
4) If it is already installed, only activation is performed, and no separate installation is performed.
2. Installing .NET Framework
Install .NET Framework using the installation file.
1) Run the .NET Framework installation file located in the CIVIL folder.
CIVIL folder path where .NET Framework installation file is located |
---|
C:\Program Files\MIDAS\Civil\.Net FrameWork 4.5 |
If you changed the program installation path when installing CIVIL, go to the corresponding path and confirm 'Civil\.Net FrameWork 4.5.'
2) Proceed with all the installation processes that are confirmed for .NET Framework.
