Question
When I try to drag and drop the file on MIDAS Program, file cannot be imported.
Answer
This error can occur depending on the user's PC environment, and it can also be caused by the registry stored on the PC. Such errors can be resolved by modifying the string value in the 'Registry Editor'. Before taking action, make sure that all running instances of Program are closed.
1) Type 'Registry Editor' in the search box on the taskbar and run it.
2) In the opened Registry Editor, navigate to 'Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System'.
3) On the right pane, double-click the 'EnableLUA' string to open 'Edit DWORD(32-bit) Value' window and change the Value data to '1' to '0' and click the OK button.
4) Restart the PC.
5) After PC is turned on, run the program to check for drag and drop availability.
When using the Registry Editor, it is recommended not to modify or edit other registries beyond the instructed solution, as there is a risk of problems with other program usage.
