Question
I am experiencing errors during execution and interpretation, and I want to simplify the file path and filename.
Answer
There are various errors that occur when opening or interpreting files within the MIDAS program, such as access being denied or insufficient permissions.
In such cases, security programs can be a problem, but first, it is necessary to check whether the file path or filename contains special characters or is not too long. In the case of special characters, we provide a function that automatically recognizes the special characters as '_' during interpretation, but this may not work depending on the user's PC environment. In such cases, we recommend changing the path to the desktop or the C drive and using it.
1. Create a new folder to use inside the C drive.
Enter the folder name freely within the range that does not include special characters as much as possible.
2. Move the problematic file to the newly created folder and verify it.
3. The same method can be applied to the desktop, but there may be special characters in the user's PC name or domain, so please use it with caution.
