[Execution] Error message: 'og1301as.dll' is displayed in Event Viewer

Question

When checking the event viewer, 'og1301as.dll' is displayed and CIVIL does not run.

Answer

If you install fonts that are not supported by the MIDAS program on your PC, you may experience problems running programs such as CIVIL.

To run CIVIL, you need to restore the fonts to their default settings. If you have no choice but to use the font causing the issue, please write a post in the forum and we will review the issue internally and contact you again.

1. Open File Explorer and navigate to the path where the fonts are saved: 'C:\Windows\Fonts'.

2. Copy all the fonts in the folder and create a 'Fonts' folder on your desktop, and paste the copied fonts into it.

3. Repeat the above process 2-3 times to ensure that all items are transferred without missing any.

4. Select all the fonts inside the 'C:\Windows\Fonts' folder and delete them. Repeat this process 2-3 times to avoid missing any items.

If there are fonts remaining in the 'C:\Windows\Fonts' path during the deletion process, they will not be deleted as they are default fonts provided by Windows.

After the deletion process is complete, run CIVIL to confirm if it works properly.

If there are no issues with running CIVIL after all the deletions are completed, the installed font is likely the cause of the issue. Finding the font causing the problem is beyond the scope of our technical support, so you will need to locate and delete the font yourself, then replace it in the original location. If using the font is unavoidable, please write a post in the forum as mentioned above.
