Serviceability Load Combination Type

Function

  • Load cases will be classified into Characteristic, Frequent, or Quasi-permanent.

 

Note 1 
This function is only active for Eurocode 2 and 3.

 

Note 2 
In order to use this function, Eurocode 2 or 3 must be selected in Results>Combination, and it performs design based on the standards.

 

Note 3 
If Auto Generation is selected, it will classify load cases automatically. If not, user must classify them by himself.

 

Call

From the Main Menu select [Design] tab > [Type : Steel Design] > [Design Input Data] group > [Design Parameters] > [Load Contribution for Nonlinear Load Case]

From the Main Menu select [Design] tab > [Type : RC Design] > [Design Input Data ] group > [Design Parameters] > [Load Contribution for Nonlinear Load Case]

From the Main Menu select [Design] tab > [Type : Cold Formed Steel Design] > [Design Input Data] group > [Design Parameters] > [Load Contribution for Nonlinear Load Case]

 

Input

Load cases will be classified as shown in the figure below, and they will be automatically classified when using Auto-generation.
