Overview

• Generate is a function that creates an Excel sheet (InfoX Sheet) from the property information of each object in the CIM model.

• It organizes sheets by object category and provides an information sheet that allows you to look up property information for each object based on IFC Guid.

• InfoX Sheet Structure :

Sheet Name Description

MEMBER

Properties of concrete/steel members and object groups

TENDON

Tendon properties

STIFFENER

Stiffener properties

BOLT

Bolt properties

LAYOUT

Execution

[Base Mode]

• Ribbon Menu > [Base] Tab > [Property] Group > Information > Generate

Description

Generate Function

Generates property information for each object as category-specific Excel sheets, based on the Structure hierarchy defined in the CIM model.

01 Generate UI.png

• (1) Structure Selection

Select the Structure hierarchy to be used as the basis for the InfoX Sheet from the list of Structures defined in the project (Structure-1, Structure-2, Structure-3, etc.).
The WBS (Structure, StructureLevel, StructureName, etc.) of objects in the sheet is determined by the selected Structure.

• (2) Edit Default Property Set

Opens the Default Property Set configuration screen.
For details, refer to the Edit Default Property Set page.

• (3) Edit Default Quantity Set

Opens the Default Quantity Set configuration screen.
For details, refer to the Edit Default Quantity Set page.

• (4) Clear User Property/Quantity Set

Option to reset User Property / Quantity Set.

Checked: Initializes and recreates the USER PSET / USER QSET sheets.
Unchecked: Keeps the existing USER PSET / USER QSET sheets as they are.

Caution
When unchecked, the existing USER PSET / USER QSET sheets are preserved, but columns A–E (Structure, StructureLevel, StructureName, StructureCode, IFCGUID) and information for newly added objects will not be updated.

It is recommended to check the Clear option in the following cases:
• When a large number of new objects have been added
• When the Structure hierarchy has been changed or newly configured

However, when Clear is executed, all user-entered User P/Q Set data will be reset,
so please back up the existing InfoX Sheet via [Base] Tab > [Export] Group > Xls > Information Data before proceeding.

• (4) Generate InfoX Sheet

Generates the InfoX Sheet based on the selected Structure.

How to Generate InfoX Sheet

① Execute Information > Generate.

② Select the Structure to be used as the basis for the InfoX Sheet.

③ Click the Generate InfoX-Sheet button to create the InfoX Sheet containing 6 category-specific sheets.

Caution
All information in the InfoX Sheet is tracked based on IFC GUID.
IFC GUID is assigned to each object only after the IFC Export function has been performed at least once.
Since objects will not have a GUID if IFC Export has not been performed, be sure to perform IFC Export before executing Generate.
